Triptych and diptychs are considered to be one work and must be able to be hung as one piece. (Maximum size 1.5m square)
Each work must be ready for exhibition, complete with string/wire and D rings/picture triangles or eyes. Screw in eyes must be within the frame. Works without this will not be hung. Frames purchased (from Briscoes, Warehouse) with a single metal hanger are not suitable. You must have D rings added. If you have previously had it on display on your wall you must ensure it is cleaned of dust and fly marks and made presentable for sale.
It is essential that the name of artist, price, title and medium is to be written on a tag, with the string long enough to hang over the top of the painting. This is to help the hanging process. Please contact Lynn or Joanna if you have queries about this.
Please sign your work – Anonymous work will not be hung.

They should not have been done in a workshop where there are multiple versions of the same picture, or completely under art instruction, or guided from a book or TV tutorial. Works must not have been previously exhibited in one of our members’ only exhibitions or in our Autumn Festival Exhibitions.
The committee has the right to refuse entry of an art work. Hanging and positioning of work is at the sole discretion of the Curator and once hung must not be moved.
You are responsible for your own insurance. The Cambridge Art Society will take good care of your work in our hands but cannot be held responsible for theft or damage.
Please don’t undervalue your work. Minimum price is $100.
