Passion for Art

The Cambridge Art Society is participating in the Autumn Passion for Art open studios!

Passion for Art is on the weekend of the Rotary Cambridge Garden Festival — Saturday 14 & Sunday 15 November 2026. The Cambridge Art Society studio is open from 10am to 4pm.

There will be art available to view and purchase from the themed walls and the artists working at the Painting Place studio.

Hares presently dominate her art and can appear in many colours — they are elegant, beautiful, spiritual and gentle creatures present in so many myths and legends: hares as familiars, spirits, as guides, moon companions and heralds of spring and new life.

Joanna Holmes

Inspired by local surroundings and imagination, I experiment with interesting shapes, colour combinations and techniques, using acrylic and mixed media to create playful, quirky artworks.

Jared Milbank

Jared paints everyday scenes mostly around Cambridge witnessed in light and shadow and painted with acrylics to reveal their immediacy and brightness.
