Mixed Media and/or Abstract Workshop with Ulemj Glamuzina
Saturday 6 or Sunday 7 June | 51 Thornton Rd, Cambridge 9:30am – 1:30pm
Unlock Your Creative Potential
A very successful mixed media abstract workshop was held this past weekend in BOP by talented abstract artist Ulemj Glamuzina. We are lucky enough to be offering her experience and skills in a public four hour weekend workshop in Cambridge.
In this abstract workshop — your choice of either Saturday 6th June or Sunday 7th June — you will discover the exciting possibilities of combining different materials and techniques to create expressive, textured artwork. Booking is essential.
Ulmej's art students get to enjoy playful exercises to loosen up, let go of perfection, and build confidence through layering, mark making and intuitive composition.
At the BOP workshops, it was lovely watching everyone experiment freely and discover their own visual language — each artwork emerging completely unique and full of personality. So much creativity, curiosity and connection in one space was very inspiring!
This workshop is suitable for all levels, from beginners wanting to try mixed media or abstract painting for the first time to more experienced artists looking to expand their creative practice.
The techniques explored can also be applied to any subjects, such as landscapes, portraits, and abstract work, offering fresh ideas and new ways to enrich your artistic process.

Most materials will be provided for the workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring:
Two brushes – one fine brush and one wider brush
